Finding-the-Path: Case 16

History

A 31-year-old woman is brought to the emergency room by an ambulance after being struck by a car. She was initially responsive at the scene but subsequently lost consciousness and had to be intubated. Her vital signs are stable and preliminary examination does not show any sign of abdominal injury or open fractures. Her pupils are equal and reactive and she responds to painful stimuli. Portable radiographs of the chest and lateral cervical spine are unremarkable.
