Finding-the-Path: Ultrasound of pelvis/appendix
Start with plain abdominal radiographs to exclude free intraperitoneal air or bowel obstruction and to search for an appendicolith.

CT of abdomen/pelvis
Supine and upright abdominal radiographs
Barium enema
