Finding-the-Path: Case 14
History
A 75-year-old man is brought to the emergency room by his family because of an acute change in his mental status. He had reportedly fallen at home the evening before but did not have any complaints at that time. On exam, he is disoriented to place and time but has no focal neurologic deficit. His laboratory values are unremarkable. Plain films of the cervical spine show degenerative spondylosis but no fracture.
