Extensive perfusion defects
involving the left cerebral hemisphere as well as the
left cerebellum.
Differential
diagnosis:
Chronic fatigue syndrome
*
Large vessel disease
* While chronic fatigue syndrome
usually presents with multiple bilateral perfusion
defects, large unilateral abnormalities may sometimes
be seen.
Large vessel disease is
unlikely, however, because the defects involve
multiple vascular territories and because the
ipsilateral
cerebellum is involved.
