Ictal perfusion study: demonstrates hyperperfusion to
the right superior temporal lobe. A small focal region of
increased perfusion is also noted in the left lateral frontal
lobe.
Interictal (baseline) study: Areas of relative
hyperperfusion in the temporal lobes bilaterally (right greater
than left), left superior temporal lobe, and left frontal lobe, as
seen in the ictal study, have resolved. In addition, the increased
perfusion noted in the right basal ganglia on the ictal study is
no longer identified.
Hyperperfusion in right superior temporal lobe consistent
with seizure focus.
