IMPRESSION:

  • Bilateral posterior temporal and parietal perfusion deficits.
  • Increased background activity.

    Differential Diagnosis:

  1. Parkinson's disease dementia
  2. Alzheimer's disease
    Note:
    Since Alzheimer's dementia (AD) and Parkinson's disease dementia (PDD) have the same perfusion pattern, it is not possible to distinguish superimposed AD from PDD in Parkinson's disease.
