IMPRESSION:

    MRI:
  • Changes secondary to radiation treatment. Signal enhancement in the tumor bed (small circle) is suspicious for tumor recurrence.

    Thallium SPECT:

  • Intense focus of thallium uptake in deep right temporal lobe.

    Tc-99m HMPAO SPECT:

  • Hyperemia corresponding to Tl-201 uptake in temporal lobe (small circle). There is a second focus of hyperemia in the left anterior temporal cortex (larger circle) without corresponding Tl-201 uptake.

    CONCLUSION:

  • Metastatic tumor focus
  • Anterior temporal hyperemia may represent silent seizure focus
