Tl-201 and HMPAO SPECT - coregistered images

T2-MRI, Tl-201, and HMPAO SPECT - coregistered images

IMPRESSION:

MRI

  • Numerous enhancing lesions noted in the left frontal and parietal regions
  • Large left frontal parasaggital hemorrhagic lesion.
  • Numerous small right occipital lesions and bilateral temporal lesions
  • Marked white matter change, most prominent in the left frontoparietal and right occipital regions.
  • Hemosiderin deposition in the inferior right frotal region on T2 weighted sequences.

    Thallium-201 and Tc-99m HMPAO SPECT:

  • Foci of increased thallium uptake in the medial right frontal, right parietal occipital, right anterior frontal, anterior midline, and two lesions in the left high convexity, most of wich are associated with decreased perfusion on the Tc 99m-HMPAO images.
  • Three of these lesions (right frontal, right parietal occipital and the left superior parietal) were present on a prior study done 3 months ago, but intensity of uptake in these regions has significantly decreased in the interval.
  • Uptake ratios are high (refer to images with numbers below).

    CONCLUSION

    High probability of tumor recurrance
