Impression:
First impression:
At rest, moderate reduced uptake in the septum, anterior wall, and lateral wall suggests extensive myocardial injury (small white lines).
Very high uptake in the liver is visible in the rest study (green arrows with "L"). The study is automatically normalized to the liver since it has the highest counts. The effect is false "low" counts in the myocardium, creating an impression of severe and extensive myocardial injury.
Note:
The study was corrected (reprocessed) and normalized to the portion of the myocardium with the highest uptake (second set of images).
Final impression:
No evidence of ischemia.
Mild nontransmural MI in anterior septum and adjacent anterior wall (white arrows) (5/25 segments) (LAD territory). LBBB is a much less likely explanation, although, it may contribute to the reduced uptake in the septum.
