Impression:
Fixed mild reduced uptake in the inferior wall and posterior septum with mild stress-induced changes -- consistent with nontransmural MI (4/25 segments) and mild ischemia in the residual myocardium and apex (5/25 segments)(RCA).
In this patient, no abnormalities are noted in the septum during stress-induced LBBB.
At rest, mild to moderate liver uptake (colored arrows with "Liver").
Notice:
Bowel uptake (tubular structures) seen in the stress images (colored arrows with "Bowel") to the left of and below the heart.
Tracer concentration in the bowel is clearly less than in the myocardium. Therefore, there is no normalization problem. However, the proximity of the bowel uptake to the inferior wall may cause some "spill over", resulting in overestimation of true myocardial counts in the inferior wall.
