Special Cases Case of Broken Heart Case history/ Imaging data

• 24-year-old male
• Height: 5 feet 10 inches
• Weight: 170 pounds
• Professional race driver, crashed and sustained extensive total body injuries including multiple rib fractures and sternum fracture. ECG changes were noted early in the very complicated recovery and elevated enzymes indicated myocardial injury. The myocardial perfusion study was requested 4 weeks later.
• Evaluate myocardial perfusion

SPECT myocardial perfusion studies were performed using Tc-99m-Sestamibi. Images representing myocardial perfusion were obtained at rest and peak stress.

Reason for termination	Protocol. No chest pain
