Normal Variant Diaphragmatic Attenuation Case history/ Imaging data

• 67-year-old male
• Weight: 225 pounds (102 kg)
• Recent onset of atypical chest pain. The man is a regular moderate exerciser, and wants to increase the intensity and duration of exercise now that he has retired.
• Evaluate for ischemia

SPECT myocardial perfusion studies were performed using Tc-99m-Sestamibi. Images representing myocardial perfusion were obtained at rest and peak stress.

Duration of stress	10 min
Peak heart rate (85%)	66 --> 160 (85%=134)
Systolic BP (basal --> peak)	140 --> 160
Double product (peak rate x BP)	24,700
Reason for termination	Dyspnea. No chest pain
ECG findings	No ST changes
