Impression:

First impression:

  • No stress-induced ischemia.
  • Possible minor fixed inferior wall defect.

    Note:
The stress tracer dose was administered during severe clinical symptoms. The maximum count rate in the stress study is lower than the count rate at rest (in spite of a three times higher stress dose)(sic).

The tracer dose injected during stress never reached the myocardium, must be tracer infiltration (counts within circles).

    Final impression:

  • Only the rest study is worthy of comment.
  • Myocardial perfusion at rest is within normal limits except for the inferior wall, where the uptake is mildly reduced (arrows). This is consistent with, but not diagnostic of, nontransmural MI.

    Cardiac catheterization:

  • Left dominant system
  • LAD - eccentric proximal stenosis
  • D1 - 60-70% proximal stenosis

    Comment:
When one-day protocols are used, image statistics must always be displayed. In most such protocols, a two to three times increase in the maximum counts in the second study ensures validity of the data.
