Bowel Uptake

Impression:

  • Mild to moderate bowel uptake in the rest and stress studies (tubular structure to the left and below the heart (green arrows with "Bowel").

  • Mild reduced uptake of attenuation type in the inferior wall.

  • In both the rest and stress studies, a narrow band of reduced uptake is visible in the upper half of the anterior wall (white arrows). This type of reduced uptake is nonspecific (narrow band that does not correspond to any vascular territory) and unlikely to represent coronary artery disease. Artifact or nonischemic scar (post myocarditis) are likely explanations.

  • No fixed or reversible perfusion abnormalities detected at the cardiac workload achieved.
