Impression:

First impression:

  • Low counts observed in the rest study (circles). This is likely due to a combination of patient habitus (weight=220 pounds / 100 kg) and partial tracer infiltration.

The study was corrected (reprocessed) (second set of images).

    Final impression:

  • The quality of the reprocessed rest study is borderline. Considering the quality, the reduced uptake in the anterior septum at rest, with normal uptake at this location during stress, is nonspecific.

  • The tracer was injected during severe chest pain. No perfusion abnormalities were detected in the stress study of high quality.

    Comments:
Standard processing (filtering) may not apply to all patients. The reprocessed study (using another filter that matches the count statistics) demonstrates the effect of appropriate filtering.
