FIRE, the File of Images for Radiology Education, is a project to collect a large number of simple radiologic teaching cases for medical students at all levels from personal teaching files of selected radiology staff at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The project was funded by a grant from the Harvard Medical School Dean’s Information Technology Innovation Fund, and has also had considerable technical support from the web design and BrighamRad team at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
