The
Department of Radiology performs more than 240,000
studies annually at the hospital's radiology
facility and at its satellite
locations. The procedures are appropriate
for all aspects of adult and perinatal care.
Referring physicians may call the consulting
radiologist any time during regular business
hours to discuss the needs of a particular patient
or class of patients. Every effort is made to
schedule related procedures closely in time
and to produce an integrated report covering
all examinations to date. Examination reports
are available by telephone immediately for physicians
who call the department. The printed reports
are mailed within 24 hours for most studies
and are available to referring physicians via
a secure website.
